Customer Reviews of Sunbeam SAB998D-41 Dial Scale, White with Black Mat

Customer Review: We ended up throwing it away
Summary: 2 Stars

This didn't work for long and the pounds were always off - move the scale to different parts of the room and you had a different weight. We were three to five pounds lighter on this than other scales. I want to lose weight but really lose weight, not just on a wacky scale. :) We ended up with a digital one from a local store that is very accurate.

Customer Review: It is okay for simple weight loss tracking
Summary: 3 Stars

If you just want an affordable way but not a very accurate way of weighing yourself and keeping records, this is for you. It is inexpensive but not super accurate. What I do is weigh myself once weekly and at that time I do it three times and take the average. That's my weight for that week. Since I don't need strict numbers, this works for me.

Customer Review: Good Scale
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this as a gift for my friend last Christmas, and we're now roomies at an apartment! She has this in her bathroom, and I've used it a couple times. Seems to be fairly accurate, and it hasn't really gone crazy. Easily adjusted. We have dumbbells that help us gauge the accuracy of this scale, and it's done well so far.

Customer Review: Inexpenive but ACCURATE
Summary: 5 Stars

This may only be a $10 scale but It's exactly what I wanted. A Inexpensive scale to monitor my weight once In a while. It seems to be as accurate as the digital one at the Dr office. To the LB It may not be 5 star looking or analize body fat?? Do most of us care? It get's 5 stars for what It Is and being $10

Customer Review: Dinky scale
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this scale so my senior residents could weigh themselves (they don't like the digital ones). However, the red pointer would never stay on 0 to start. I would move it so it was set on 0 but when I set it down or someone started to step on it it would move. Therefore, it was never an accurate reading.
