This old fashion style scale works very well and without batteries. Is it accurate?
Accurate enought. If you're into how many ounces you lost of gained, this scale isn't for you but if you're into pounds, this scale will be just fine. And again, it NEVER needs batteries!!

This is great! It's a simple scale, but the price was great and the shipping was free. Amazon is a great thing as it gives Soldiers overseas in desolate areas access to things that they would not normally be able to get and the shipping was FAST and FREE! Cheap, small, blends in, it's accurate, and tells me what I don't want to know. It's a good scale that does what it should. All I wanted was something to keep track of my weight between regular doctor checkups. The numbers are a little small, but still readable. The price can't be beat and it's not confusing or takes to much time to learn all the works like those digital ones.
