Customer Reviews of Sunny Health & Fitness 40" Foldable Trampoline with BarCustomer Review: Best exercise ever!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I received this about a week ago -- and I sure hope it doesn't break as quickly as some of these reviewers write about, because I love it so much. I'm 67 and completely out of shape, and I can already tell some differences made in my body by using this trampoline. Plus I've already lost three lbs. This trampoline is infinitely better than a treadmill, having used both before, and from all the reading I have done about the rebounder, using a mini-trampoline provides for better health over the long haul than a treadmill. The muscles in my legs are already stronger than before I started bouncing. At the price I paid it almost makes this exerciser disposable, so if it breaks I'll just go out and invest in a more expensive piece of equipment, that has a lifetime guarantee. Having used this experience with this rebounder as a tool to find a really great exercise routine and piece of equipment for myself. That being said, I find this rebounder to be sturdy enough for an old gal, and easy enough for me to put it together myself. The stabilizing bar helps me out a lot, since I'm a little wobbly right now. I highly recommend this as a starter piece if you think you might be interested in rebounding but don't want to put a lot of money out for a piece of equipment until you find out if you like it and if you'll actually use it. Go ahead and buy this, I had no problem with the seller, and it came before the expected date of arrival. Bounce away. Have a great time with it. Enjoy!!
Customer Review: Great for recovery Summary: 4 Stars
My health care professional recommended a rebounder for me. I am attempting to recover from a long illness and still can't walk more than a block at a time. She said it is good for getting the lymph moving for people who can't exercise. When I said I didn't think I could balance on it, she told me about the bar to hold.
This model was the best price on the internet for items that users found sturdy. It came quickly in a medium-sized box. And when put together it was ginormous. It has a carrying case for portability, which is hilarious because it's so big and by the time it's unfolded, the legs screwed on, the bar assembled, I'd have no more energy for bouncing.
And then I started using it. At first I could only jump 20 times, so I started doing it three times a day. After 2 weeks I'm up to 70 times, three times a day. It is work for me, and the bar is essential. I'm so weak that most of the time I can't really get a bounce without using the bar. I can feel the improvement and would recommend it to those who need to build up strength. It is easy on my knees and hips, unlike walking.
I gave it 4 stars, not five, because of the construction of the bar. The bar moves back and forth as I jump, which is a little unnerving, but it has held so far, so I hope it is fine this way.
Customer Review: I'm happy to recommend this one Summary: 5 Stars
Sunny Health & Fitness 40" Foldable Trampoline with Bar I researched rebounders for about a month before deciding on this one and I'm very happy with my choice. It arrived almost immediately - about 3 days before I expected it! It was also very easy to set up, took about 10 minutes. I was happy to see how sturdy & well made it seems to be. After reading many rebounder reviews on Amazon and other sites, I picked this one because I didn't find any complaints about complicated set up or about it seeming cheap or about springs breaking - these were common complaints about other rebounders. You can spend up several hundred dollars for a rebounder, but I can't imagine how much better the higher priced models could be. My one small criticism is that they don't include an 800 number (fortunately I haven't needed one - so far) or anything else that identifies the manufacturer. I just would have liked to see a little literature and product info, beyond the set up instructions. But maybe that's why it is so reasonably priced - they put their money into product, not glossy, colorful literature. All in all, I can recommend this highly.
Customer Review: Pleased so far Summary: 4 Stars
This is my first rebounder and so far, so good. The product came much more quickly than anticipated. I ordered it on 3/24 and received it on 3/30. It was very well packages with no damage. Easy to unfold and screw on the legs. There is a strong rubber smell that dissipates after a day or two. The feet screw on instead of fold up, but I store it on its side after removing the handle so it doesn't take up too much space.
Really glad that I have a larger bouncing surface for more freedom of movement. There is not a really strong bounce, but it's not lax either. It seems sturdy. It's a much better workout than I thought it would be. I used to jog and I'm seriously surprised at the level of aerobic intesity that can be achieved. My knees are not that great anymore, so this low impact alternative is a blessing. I can feel it in my hips and knees and it may bother someone with arthritis or a previous injury in the lower joints. Impact is not negligible, but nothing like a even a light jog on pavement. Hard to compare, perhaps more like a brisk walk. It also helps me feel more awake in the morning.
I'll update after I've had it for a while. Glad that I made the purchase.
Customer Review: This thing is awesome!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my 19 month old grandson. It is made for adults, but has been one of the best purchases I have made for the little guy. It was easy to put together, well made and we both have a blast using it. He likes to swing from the support bar--bonus for developing muscle strength in his arms--and has a great time just jumping on the thing. I like the easy to adjust support bar so adults can use it too. It is remarkably stable and all types and sizes have had a go on this thing with no problems. Adult supervision should be used with all small children as there is always potential for injury--but that is not a manufacturing defect, more of a parenting defect. The only draw back was the shipping cost. But I found a great price and with the shipping it was still cheaper than most sites were selling without the shipping added, so I don't feel cheated. It has a nice, large sweet spot, padded spring cover, support bar with padded grip (nice so little guys don't bonk their heads!). Legs screw off and it is remarkable easy to fold up. Comes with its own storage bag that fits in the closet or under the bed.
