I've worn hearing aids since I was 5 years old. I am now 28 so my experience with this dryer is valid. Being active into sports and just an outdoors teen I had problems with my hearing aids getting sweat into them causing for headaches and expensive repairs. My audiologist recommended this product. I love it! Later on my mom decided to buy those expensive dryers that you plug into the wall and has some sort of brick with a blue dot on it. When it turns pink you replace the "brick." I didn't care for it as it costs $5 each for the "bricks" and I ran through them every week. I kept using the Super Dri Aid jar until I broke it during transport of gym class.
I finally bought a replacement earlier last summer and same great results. I love how you can rejuvenate the pellets for the dryer but popping it into the microwave for a few minutes until the blue on the pellets return. My only complaint is the glass jar is not suitable if you plan on transporting it. My wife and I went on a cruise shortly after I bought the replacement and the morons at the airport rough handled the suitcase (it was even labeled fragile and I had the airport personnel flag my suitcase with breakable item inside.) When I got in my stateroom on the ship it was broken and useless. I've bought a 3rd replacement but if you plan on transporting it then I highly recommend putting it into a small plastic tupper ware.
