I sent this Styling Iron to my niece. She was so excited about using it -- until she attempted to plug it in. It arrived equipped for usage in Europe, not the United States, which is where she lives, and where I live. No where in the description on Amazon did I see that it came with a European plug-in. Perhaps it's simple enough to buy an adaptor, but having never bought an adaptor before, I don't know if there are specific types. I've sent an email to the seller, and have left a voice-mail message, but have not received a return call/e-mail. So disappointing because it looks like a very nice iron.
