Customer Reviews of THUM LIQUID Size: 2 DRCustomer Review: FAIL! Summary: 1 Stars
Worthless. The taste/burning sensation is delayed. I've already got into a nail or skin pretty good before this "reminder" goes into effect. At that time it is not a good deterrent.
I can't imagine putting "hot pepper" taste onto a toddler or babies fingers!! The "hot" can be rubbed into eyes and other areas where you do not want to have a burning sensation!
Not an effective product.
Customer Review: Maybe for super young kids Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased this for my 4 1/2 year old daughter who has bitten her nails down to the quick. I was afraid to start on something tougher, just in case. However, not only is she not afraid to stick her whole finger tip into her mouth after I was done, she actually chews the polish off. I also tried it, and yeah, it has sorta a bad taste, but nothing HORRIBLE. Trying the Orly next.
Customer Review: Look at the ingredients first Summary: 1 Stars
DO NOT BUY THIS I bought this in the children's aisle at the pharmacy. When I got home I saw that there was acetone, alcohol and laquer--seriously people, why not just let your kid drink nail polish remover.
Oh yeah, and it says, "for external use only"!!! it is for thumb sucking! It also says "will stain clothing and furniture finishes"
Disgraceful.
Customer Review: Didn't stop my daughter from sucking her thumb Summary: 1 Stars
My six year old was able to wash off the product and when it had been on for awhile, even tolerate the taste. It is made with cayenne pepper and simply not strong enough to stop a child who really really needs to suck their thumb. I ended up using another product: Malava which is currently doing the trick. Not recommended to assist with breaking the thumb sucking habit.
Customer Review: sucks big time! Summary: 1 Stars
this product may claim to stop thumb sucking and nail biting, but falls incerdiablly short! it literally sucks! my daughter has a nail biting habit and she didn't even flinch when she put her fingers in her mouth, even coated her nails liberally. then I tested mine and I couldn't tast a thing. a waste of money and time. and expencive peice of you know what.
