My old scale varied so much that I decided to purchase this one after reading the reviews. I bought it mainly for the scale funtion, but the body fat measurement (or really water) is accurate, too. It matches the measurement that was taken at my gym. It took a few minutes to set up, but works well. I would recommed this product to others.Customer Review: Great accuracy and consistency

I'm really pleased with this scale. At first I thought the bodyfat reading was too low. Then I had a caliper reading done at the gym (by the same person that usually checks it for me) and the readings were within 1 percent of eachother. Now I'm convinced that it's really accurate and I don't have to bother doing it at the gym anymore.Customer Review: A good tool for tracking bodyfat changes

The scale won't be as accurate as DEXA or underwater weighing, but it is sufficient to track changes in bodyfat. That is all I need to know, if my bodyfat is increasing or decreasing.
I recommend checking your bodyfat every day at the same time under the same conditions and using your weekly average to track your bodyfat.

It has worked very well and much better than my previous body fat scale that erred out constantly. This one works great but you need to follow the instructions carefully and take measurements at a consistent time of day, otherwise your body fat can fluctuate as much as 5-8%. This scale does fine at lower body weights, but is totally inaccurate at higher weights (240 lbs. +). It has absolutely no repeatable accuracy! You can weigh yourself 10 times in a row, and get 8 different weights, varying as much as a pound! The body fat feature is a joke! Buy a cheaper scale - save some money.
