Customer Review: INACCURATE and INCONSISTENT

I don't expect a $35 scale to accurately measure my BF% but why is this so INCONSISTENT?? The measurements really do vary by the second, with the scale on the floor in the same place. The weight measurement is pretty accurate however.
***UPDATE***
SO, AFTER WORKING FOR ALL OF 3 MONTHS, THE THING DIED ON ME!!! It constantly displays "ERR" and I can never get it to work again. I will never buy another Taylor product ever again.

I purchased this scale about 6 weeks ago and just love it! It is very accurate as the other reviews state. You can stand on it several times and even on different surfaces and get the exact same reading. It is very impressive looking and sturdy. Highly recommend it for the price on Amazon. The manufacturer should include more info on bone mass as stated in another review and also go into more depth explaining other measurements but overall it is OUTSTANDING!!Customer Review: Works Great.

I've had no problems with incorrect readings. The scale reads the same as my normal scale and Wii Fit for me. Works exactly as it should.
Update July 2009 - I would like to change my review to 1 star. This scale has given me nothing but problems 3 months after purchasing it. I constantly get an error message, and when it does work it has become 3 pounds off from all other scales I have. I would change my recommendation to NOT purchase this scale.

This scale works very poorly on linoleum floors, and erratically on hard tile. It weighs very consistently unless you bump or move it, in which case it will consistently give you a new and different result. The scale function varied within a 5 pound range, but the body fat percentage had a 9% range! 13% body fat at 5:31, 22% at 5:32.
You probably think I'm misusing the scale, but I'm the guy who reads the manual. This product is terrible.

The scale seemed just what I was looking for but quit working after 3 months. After working with the customer service at taylor I found it was bad and needed to be sent in for warranty...It cost near as much to ship back which is our responsibility for the warranty as It did to purchase in the first place. The costomer service was real helpful and friendly at taylor but time and cost involved in sending it back- not worth it. Its garbage.
