While I'm uncertain of the accuracy of the scale, it is very precise: you can step on it many times and it will give you the same weight each time. It also looks quite nice as it's mostly glass, but it still seems sturdy. I've used the body fat/water a couple times, but I wasn't sure how accurate it was and as an athlete, I didn't want to rely on this as a judge, despite its "athlete mode".Customer Review: Worked perfect for a few months - now not so good.

Worked perfect, did it's job, and I can't complain over the few months we used it. We really needed it for a few months during a weight loss program we were doing. Well, since then, we replaced the battery once and now it turns on and checks the weight (i guess of the air?). It does it often, probably why the first battery died.
Would be a great product if it lasted longer.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I had the same problem as many of the others posted here. Stopped working after only 1 month. I tried all the instructions they gave me to reset it. I reset it 20 times and nothing. We have another Weight Watchers scale that works without problem. This is the second Taylor scale that has stopped working. I've been on the search for a great scale and this just happened to be *the one*. I read the reviews and was a little skeptical but once I've played around with it I just love it!! I made my husband try it and he's impressed too. The only thing I suggest is get a pen & paper if you want to write down your info because it flashes and is hard to memorize before it turns off.Customer Review: inconsistant weights

My weight varies every time I get on this scale. It varies by as little as a few tenths of a pound to as much as 20 pounds. I can weigh myself get off then get right back on this scale and get a different weight. I have compared my weight between this scale and the scales in my fitness center many times and they are always off. Don't buy this scale if you want accuracy.
