I brought this scale because it was small and didnt need batteries. The weight was off by a few pounds. the scale said I was under 50lbs but when it was weighed at the airport it was 51 lbs. Fortunately I had a kind agent who let it go since there was 3 of us and checking in only 1 suitcase. For the price, I think it is a bargain. I can't expect the scale to be perfect.
