i am a medical supply retailer ,& i have sold about 7 of these units.
They are very reliable,easy to program.you can just program one tel #.
to ring your care givers cell phone in the middle of the night,& ofcourse
by turning the 911 switch on the paramedics will also respond.
I like this unit better than the gurdian alert which only calls the
911.the pendant is too big & heavy i understand its a two way radio.
so buttom line is if you dont want the paramedic to be your first response
then get the teleemergency pro 700c.
There is no monthly fee.
drawback is not being waterproof.

We had to return this because the necklace was too sensitive. My elderly mother wore it around her house to do chores, and the police were called twice by the Telemergency, unbeknownst to her until they showed up on her doorstep. I think the necklace kept flipping over and hitting against her skin. They need to make it so that you have to give it a hard press before it starts the dialing process. Customer Review: Happy

I have purchased 4 of these over the last 5 years or so, and they are just what every senior who lives alone or disabled person should have. They are a bit challanging to get set up and recorded (recommend some help on that if you are technologically challenged and have trouble remembering which remote works what tv, etc) but once set up it is a life saver for sure. My Dad used it and fell down outside in the cold putting bird seed in the feeders and he pressed the buttom which he wore around his neck, as you should, and it sent the machine dialing out and I got to him within minutes. He could have frozen... and another time he couldn't get up out of the tub and reached it and got me again. IT DOES NOT NEED a constant monitoring by some company bleeding your wallet dry month after month. You can program fire dept, EMS, or just start calling the kids one by one til someone picks up and punches in the code to stop it from dialing...and then you can do a speak talk with the person if they are in ear shot of the unit, tho you need to do some dry runs on this part so you don't forget the code or the how to do it process. These are cheaper now than when I first bought one for Dad, then one for Mom, who still wears it. I then bought for mother-in-law, and aunts, etc. When I get old, I will get one. Pendant batteries last a very long time, years...so long as you don't use it all the time. You will get the false alarm once in awhile, (when they roll on the pendant in the nite) but that just means it is working and instills confidence in the unit.
Just buy it and you won't regret it.

I agree with D.Stevens comment about the Telemergency Feel Secure 700. I purchased one about 5 years ago! There has not been even one malfunction from the unit in all that time! And yes, it has been used over 5 times by my 97 year old father with minor to major emergencies! It has truly allowed all parties involved to have near total "peace of mind"! Thanks Telemergency!
