i am a medical supply retailer ,& i have sold about 7 of these units.
They are very reliable,easy to program.you can just program one tel #.
to ring your care givers cell phone in the middle of the night,& ofcourse
by turning the 911 switch on the paramedics will also respond.
I like this unit better than the gurdian alert which only calls the
911.the pendant is too big & heavy i understand its a two way radio.
so buttom line is if you dont want the paramedic to be your first response
then get the teleemergency pro 700c.
There is no monthly fee.
drawback is not being waterproof.

The device is easy to program, once you read all the inst carefully. The range of the pendant is not that great, 50' is about the extent. It would be nice if the pendant was waterproof. The necklace for the pendant is not adjustable..it should be, I will get my dad a necklace that adjusts. The emergency button has to be depressed for 4 sec, my dad fell a couple days ago and did not depress it long enough.. 2 sec would be sufficient. When you fall 4 sec is a long time when you are nervous and shook up. Otherwise it works fine we have him test it weekly to make sure it is contacting all programmed phone numbers.Customer Review: Life Saver

I purchased this medical alert for my 88 year old mother who lives with me. Although she has not had to "really" use it, she accidentally pushed the help button one morning, and within 8 minutes the police and ambulance was at the door - that almost scared her to death. But, I can tell you it works very well. And since she does not walk very well and thinks she has to go out and watch the garden grow, and I have to work all day this has become her favorite friend. She wears it around her neck day and night. I would recommend it for everyone, young and old.Customer Review: works well but a little complicated

I think that the telemergency pro-elite 700c with the wireless pendant it a very good product. As long as the person using it is able to know which button to push on the pendant and that the rather confusing directions on how to program the phone numbers can be followed, the machine does what it needs to do. After we were able to set the system up, the machine performed flawlessly. It just takes a little time to set the machine up but I am happy with my purchase.Customer Review: Necklace is too sensitive

We had to return this because the necklace was too sensitive. My elderly mother wore it around her house to do chores, and the police were called twice by the Telemergency, unbeknownst to her until they showed up on her doorstep. I think the necklace kept flipping over and hitting against her skin. They need to make it so that you have to give it a hard press before it starts the dialing process.
