Customer Reviews of The Art of Shaving Shaving Cream - Sandalwood 5 OzCustomer Review: One of the best sandalwood creams out there Summary: 5 Stars
I am an experienced wet shaver and have used many creams and soaps in my pursuit of the ultimate shave. The AOS Sandalwood creme is designed to be used in conjunction with a shave brush (badger or synthetic) and a lather bowl. When used properly the AOS sandalwood will whip up mounds or creamy, thick, skin protecting lather. It is truly a joy to shave with, and I look forward to shaves with it. I have sold off all of my other sandalwood creams and use the AOS cream exclusively now, it is that good. If you need further proof go to the Badger and Blade website and ask.
Customer Review: I like it Summary: 4 Stars
I have been using this shaving cream for about 2 weeks now and have noticed a better shave ever since the switch from a crabtree & evelyn product my wife got me. For my skin I love the way it feels when I shave and has an appealing scent, not to strong at all in my opinion. Good smooth lather, with an edwin jagger razor and a good blade this is a winning combo!! FYI I bought mine on Ebay for $15 with free shipping...
Customer Review: worth the price even for frugal shavers Summary: 5 Stars
my first experience with AOS was the sandalwood, but i've since gone with the fragrance free version.
both shaving creams are expensive up front but the jar lasts and lasts. you must use a shaving brush to use this stuff correctly. just a small amount on the tip of the brush really whips up to a big lather.
you really have to try this stuff once to really see the difference.
Customer Review: The best Summary: 5 Stars
I went into "The Art of Shaving" store in a shopping mall and was introduced to this shaving cream. I will never go back to that canned stuff again. Try it out. You'll love it. If you want to take care of your skin and your face, then use this product. You will not be disappointed. Its time to bring the art of shaving back to your life.
Customer Review: Nice thick lather and softens bristles effectively Summary: 5 Stars
I have very thick black facial hair and this cream is quite effective. I have experimented with multiple creams and only two have worked well enough for me. This, and the Proraso cream from Italy. If your hair is as thick as mine, this is worth the extra money. Also, it comes in a rather nice box.
