Since discovering the world of shaving creams that don't come out of an aerosol can, I've tried seven or eight high end products and found this cream to be one of the best. It has just the right amount of lubricant, which makes for a very smooth shave, and just the right amount of moisturizer, which leaves my face feeling comfortable, not tight, dry and irritated like Proraso did for me. I like this cream better than Geo. Trumpers cream, too. Trumpers is good stuff, but it, too, left my face feeling drier than I prefer.
If you're searching for just the right shaving cream, I recommend you try the Art of Shaving cream.
