This was perfect for what i was lookin for. My husband & I always had a laugh before bed about who was going to turn the light off. No you get up..i don't wanna & so on.This was the perfect solution>had a remote in case we didn;t wanna clap or couldn;t loud enough.No more arguin bout turn in off the lights:) & use one in the livin room too for when we first come home.The remote is awesome:)

I wish I could rate my Clapper but I'm still waiting for it. My estimated delivery was Jan 5 - Jan 8, 2009 but As-Seen On TV didn't even notify USPS there was a package to pickup until Jan 8 but other then that I can not get any tracking information. Yes that's right USPS has not updated the tracking for at least a week. Even the Pony Express delivered across country quicker then this. I will never buy from As-Seen On TV again.Customer Review: Piece of Junk

All of the negative reviews are spot on. Bought this for Mom to turn a 40W lamp on. Couldn't get it to work by clapping but it worked with the remote for 4 days. On the fouth day it stopped working and a quick sniff (burnt electronics smell) was enough to tell me it will never work again. The unit is rated at 200Watts per outlet. 40Watts is well below its rating, it should not have burned out. It is now land fill.Customer Review: As Advertised

My wife really wanted a Clapper, to control our bedroom light. After nearly being scared off by many negitive reviews, I bought the Clapper Plus. Unlike other users, the unit has performed as advertised, with none of the "ghost" on/off probelms reported by other users. Getting the clapping rhythm right, to opperate the unit takes some practice, but the remote that came with it works well.Customer Review: Don't waste your money

I ordered the "Clapper Plus" for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. It was the only gift she asked for, so despite reservations because of the negative reviews I had read, I ordered it anyway. What a waste of money! She can clap all day and it only occasionnaly works. And the remote control that was supposed to come with it was missing from the box. Save your money.
