Bought this for my mom, and I suspected it would be difficult to make sure I clapped 'in time' and loud enough for it to register. I was right. We spent way too much time trying to clap just right. Thankfully I bought the 'plus' so she can use the remote.Customer Review: gift-arrived on time

I can not address the quality of the product itself, but I can address the service of Amazon. The Product came promptly, and packaged well so nothing was broken. I have not tried the clapper as it will be wrapped as a gift.

product works as it is said to do.My only trouble was I found out it is rated for 250 watts per outlet on the unit.My tv draws 325 watts so I can't use this as I hoped.Oh well,it will work great for the xmas tree!!Sure beats "clapping!!"Customer Review: Waste of money...

Got this for my 80 year old mother who was not able use the clap method
to turn on her lamps. Otherwise, the clapper works well using the hand
control-good thing I bought the clapper-plus.
