Customer Review: simply does not work as it claims

I bought this product about month ago right before December 2011. Although I read some reviews that said the product did not work. I thought I
should give a shot any way. There is some thing wrong with the mechaniim and when you want to turn a device on or off, you have to
clap 3 times not 2 as it states. the two clap side is totaly disabled and not working right out of the box. I would suggest finding another
company with similar device. will not buy another one.

I bought the Clapper for a young friend, and co worker, who fell and broke her hip. She has been laid up now for 9wks., and hopefully, just 2 more weeks to be able to walk on her own again. The Clapper turned out to be like a pair of feet for her in turning out the bedroom lights. It turned out to be very sensitive to sound, and if you laughed too hard, the lights came back on! The Clapper is a very usefull and also entertaining product.

I bought this as a Christmas present at the end of November. Well, it does not work and when I tried to return it the first part of January, the company told me they had a 30 day return policy and I was out of luck. How hard can it be to clap and get a light to turn on/off???? We have tried multiple times, with different lights and different people trying it. It just does not work. If anyone knows how to make it work, I would really like to know, since I can't return it.Customer Review: user friendly

I've been using the clapper for years on a living room light that is hard to get at, it works. The only problem is they only last about 6 months of constant use. I can purchase this item at Walgreens at christmas time and usually buy two so I have until the following year. When it gave out before end of year I was happy to find the item although it was much higher priced, but that is the price one pays when having to buy outside your local area.Customer Review: hard to use, but fun

I bought this as a joke for my partner. It's fun to play with, but surprisingly hard to make work. If you don't get the clap sequence timing just right in doesn't work. Fortunately the LEDs help train you. Perhaps it would be easier to use if they hadn't added the second socket requiring three claps. I would have preferred to buy a simpler one.
Update: two years and out. It gave up the ghost exactly two years after I bought it.
