A wonderful product that says what it does... can be used for sheets of paper or huge books (I'm a med student). It's a simple, compact design that doesn't need to be anything more complicated. I've waded through many other products and finally somehow found this one. Everything else was more expensive, unnecessarily complicated, and wouldn't be affective at holding the huge textbooks I have to deal with it, as well as packets of paper I deal with as well. Overall a wonderful product and I'm glad I bought it.Customer Review: The best bookstand ever!

I saw someone at B&N using this bookstand, I was so impressed I approached them asking where they had gotten it. They forgot where so I went to so many stores looking for it. Surprisingly, the only place I could find it was online, thank goodness for the internet. Highly recommended! I bought 3 because I knew I would love it, whether or not I will utilize them all at once, who cares ... I'm just happy that if I can't find the current one I was using, I have another spare and a spare for my spare. :-]Customer Review: Don't know how we lived without it!

I came across this product and after reading the good reviews decided to buy one for my mother for Christmas. For years my mom has struggled to hold books open at breakfast and dinner with an assortment of heavy objects. No more! So far this has worked on every book she's tried, including paperbacks. It's comfortable for her to use and improves the reading angle. When I asked her how she liked it the other day she replied, "I don't know how I lived without this all these years." I have a neck problem and the doctor told me not to hold my head down to read or sew. I love to eat and read at the same time so the Easi-Reader is just what I need. I use mine every day. I sit at the table and eat at least one meal a day and I have my book right in front of me. I love it. It is good for paperback books or hardbacks. I use it to do my bible reading in the morning. This book stand is ideal for those fat professional hardcover books like those used in medical and law schools. I used this particular book stand in medical school back in the mid 80s and was pleasantly surprised to find it on amazon.com. It works for all kinds of books from paperbacks to hardcovers. It is studier than the Mighty Bright Folding/Adjustable Book Holder.
