I got this today in the mail and have only used it for one book so far (Internal Medicine Just the Facts, a paperback but medium thickness book) and it is great! At first when I saw it I wondered how such a thin and flimsy appearing thing would be able to hold up a book but it works. Haven't tried it with anything but 1 book so far, but I'm excited. I recommend getting it from Independent Living Aids because they have cheaper shipping and handling.Customer Review: Easi-does it

Great product, great price. Does everything the other reviewers have said, just as advertised. I was looking for the massive med/law school sized bookstand (I'm med) and this was the best loved reader for a reason. Folds up great, lightweight, easy breezy... Stop reading reviews and get one. Oh, and the people at MaxiAids were fantastic. I entered the wrong shipping address, caught em before it went out, and they fixed it right up.Customer Review: Grandmom says, Wonderful gadget!

This stand proved to be better that I expected. It holds large, heavy (read coffee table) books easily and is so portable as to be a pleasure. Folds very thin and can slip in the smallest tote or brief case. Also great for the morning paper (don't want to gump up your paper while you're buttering your bagel!); but if you are only a paperback reader, I'd give this one a pass. For the price, what's not to like!Customer Review: Great for college!

The book stand can hold most of my textbooks while I study in the library at school. It's better than my old "bookstand" which was just my scrunched up booksack. Now I can study without trying to angle the pages out of the shadow.
It's foldable which makes it portable. Again I think it's great for college.

This is a great little stand for text books. Anyone who spends hours on the computer while using a book would appreciate having one. It's been a huge help to me for minimizing neck strain. It's sturdy enough to hold hefty text books and couldn't be any easier to use. It was delivered very quickly too.
