Customer Reviews of The Happy Company Head Trip Therapeutic MassagerCustomer Review: Too many rods, but good. Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this for a gift, and was eager to try it myself.
Theres twice as many rods as I can handle, theres just too much sensation, and I had a negative reaction after a few seconds.
If I had one for myself I'd break off half of the rods and rate it 5 stars.
It seems you can "unfold" the rods a few times but I wasnt sure if this would loosen them up in the handle, so I recommended she didnt mess with them
As far as it being "scratchy", I have no idea how they can say this. Theirs probably has a defect. The ends are smooth as silk. I'm sure they can be sanded or buffed out, or even treated with clear nail polish to make it smooth if need be.
Customer Review: The Happy Co Head Massager Summary: 1 Stars
Unfortunately, this product is not what I had expected. My mom has one similar to this and we love it, but are having a hard time finding it as it was purchased at a mall kiosk during the holidays. I purchased this one in hopes that it would be the same or similar. the "prongs" on it are too stiff and actually hurt and scratch my head when trying to use. If I adjust the prongs (which is says to do to shape of head), they then become too wide and non-effective. I have returned these items and believe have finally found the right one on Amazon that is close to what we already have. Sorry for the bad review, but this particular product is not one to use. Sorry Happy Company.
Customer Review: Tingler knockoff isn't quite as tingly! Summary: 2 Stars
What's the deal with the rough-hewn copper balls on the end of the copper wires? They are scratchy. The ends of the Tingler are lacquer-dipped and sliiiiiiiide through your hair.
I knew I should've gone with the Tingler, but I thought, how different can two head massagers be? Apparently, pretty different.
Oh, here's a simple trick to determine whether you would like a head massager. Are you one of those people who loves having their hair played with? You will love having a (properly constructed) head massager. If not, don't bother leaving a bad review, because we told you you wouldn't like it...
Customer Review: It's A-Head of game! Summary: 5 Stars
I ordered it haveing seen one in action at a fair and was pleased withit's prompt arrival and excellent construction. It seems to be above the average in construction and performance. The massager is easily bent into your own particular shape for your head size and the wires stay in place when used. It gives wonderful head massage and stimulates the receptors on the scalp and brow, and forhead. I use it every morning to wake up and often in the evening to throtel down before bedtime.
I highly recommend it for any and all! Merry Christmas. I bought three to give as Christmas gifts to my friend and to my daughter.
Customer Review: Not what i was expecting Summary: 3 Stars
It's still a good massager just not the one i was looking for.
I've tried this product before in a different model and it was amazing,
This one was ok in comparison.
This is not a bad product, just not what i really wanted!
My sister had one so i decided to order one for myself. It don't feel the same as the one I was wanting. The tips are plain metal as opposed to having some plastic coating which gives the more pleasurable sensation in my opinion. and is only has one circle of wires as opposed to two (one on the inside and out).
