Customer Reviews of The Happy Company Head Trip Therapeutic Massager

Customer Review: Easily bored with it
Summary: 3 Stars

I received this as a gift and we all enjoyed a few head massages for a few days and then it just sat in a closet. I must have an extra sensitive head but it wasn't a pleasurable feeling. I could take about 2-3 head massages and then I was done. It didn't hurt and there are small balls on the ends so it didn't scratch, but it just tingled in a way I didn't like. I'm not sure what is it supposed to do but I would have been happier with a temple massage. It's great to get out at parties to get people laughing, but otherwise, it is collecting dust.

Customer Review: Best Invention
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the best invention EVER! I find myself constantly scratching my fiances back and head before we go to bed. Obviously it's enjoyable for him but it's even more so for me. When I ordered this head massager and pulled it out the first night I gave him chills down his back and he was asleep within 15 minutes! We treat each other a few times a week to head massages, especially on our stressful days and it works wonders!!! It even feels great on the back, legs... pretty much anywhere, after you get over the initial shock and chills :)

Customer Review: massager makes me happy
Summary: 4 Stars

I love these things! I got twelve of them and gave them to almost everyone I know for Christmas. They were so inexpensive and nice. Each one came in a black velvetine bag. Some of them had kind of rough ends. I'm not sure if other makes/brands of this item are the same in that regard. But I still kept one for myself and I use it all the time. (It also turned out to be a great way to get my 6 year old nephew to calm down. By using it on his head and feet I could even get him to fall asleep!)

Customer Review: This item is cheap
Summary: 1 Stars

I have a friend who has one of these and they are GREAT! but they are not all made equal. THis particular one is inferior. it's ok if you've never tried a good version. First of all the spokes are VERY stiff and the ends are poorly formed so they are sharp and can leave actual scratches on your head! I returned mine as soon as I tried it...and in the end with shipping and return shipping this just ended up costing more than the actual cheap item. I recommend such a product...BUT NOT THIS ONE!

Customer Review: Sad attempt at copying the original
Summary: 1 Stars

My wife and I used a simular product at a relatives house out of state and were excited to see this and bought two. It works nothing like the original. This "knock off copy" has ROUGHLY FORMED copper balls (they use same process as wood nail heads are formed.)These sometimes scratched instead of massage. Being made of copper it tends to bend and distort easily.
The original one we used was made of stainless and had SMOOTH plastic beads on the ends of the fingers.
