Customer Review: Finally -- Turn Your Computer Into a Wellness Tool

This is a very unique product that uses biofeedback on your computer to teach relaxation and breathing skills. The graphics are spectacular, and provide the basis for visualization training while you learn how to calm yourself, meditate and manage your physiology in order to reduce stress, make your heart healthier and improve your quality of life.
The game moves at a measured, calming pace. Users that are used to the frenetic, hyper pace of videogames will at first be frustrated by the pace. The first time I sat down to try it, I could do very little; after some practice, I can now experience much of the product, and I feel better in the process.
The navigation can be challenging at times, but there are a lot of resources (and free tech support) to help you find your way. Just go to the Wild Divine's web site and look around.
This product is not for everybody, particularly anyone who buys it expecting it to help them "hurry up and relax." But then again--who's ever heard of "hurrying up and relaxing"? If you really want to learn how to manage your heart, mind and body to help you live better/longer (or if you're into yoga or meditation), The Journey is a tool unlike any other that's out there right now.
Customer Review: Fine until the Light Stone quits or you lose the disk!!

The game is fun but it doesn't always recognize the lightstone. A message comes up to the effect that it is connecting to the lightstone and remains on the screen, never loading the program.
The problem is not the lightstone which still works fine with "Particle Editor." The website provides a driver download which did not help me at all, nor did it appear to help many of the owners who wrote to the help forum about the same issue. Part of the problem is that the forum does not appear to be monitored any longer.
Whatever you do, don't lose your disks! The automated "customer support area" will direct you to a download page that either doesn't download or shows up with the infamous "page not found" error message. Several people have added comments telling them about the link but no response has come back.
Reaching Customer Service via email is also a big zero. I wrote to them a week ago giving them a valid registered serial number and asking what I had to pay to get a new disk. I have not heard back and do not anticipate a response. Their very beautiful website is all about selling and unfortunately NOT about resolving issues with their products.

My mother got me this program when I was suffering from stress-caused lockjaw and tension problems with my back, as well as headaches. I found installation to not be a problem, and once I got the "magic rings" in the right spot, I haven't had any more probelms with them. I found that it works well, and I feel that it really manages to show me how tense I am, and helps me to feel my energy a lot more, and it has attuned me to the subtlety of my own energy. I am a little frustrated because there is not a whole lot of guidance concerning what you need to do next in the game. That was very frustrating for me. The game kept telling me to get a mentor, but I could not figure out how the heck I was supposed to do that. I started the game over, and I got him the second time. I found the scenery to be beautiful, and the music soothing, though a little repetative after a long time. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to explore biofeedback as an option for stress relief. But I would also warn you to follow the sequence of the program, or go to the chapter by chapter part, because otherwise you can lose your place and then it is very difficult to find it again.Customer Review: Great introduction to meditation/relaxation.

This is a fantastic tool for self improvement and relaxation and a flawed but acceptable game by gaming standards alone. The biofeedback hardware/software is excellent and you WILL make progress whether your goals are stress reduction, better meditation, building higher self-esteem, maybe even reaching higher states of consciousness etc...The "biofeedback events" are diverse and well designed and generally just great to use! Most of the in-game advice is also fantastic and there are a few "easter eggs" which offer very practical tools to help build your self esteem, realize your goals etc...Much of the *substance* of this project is masterfully achieved (though there are a few cheesy moments).
That said the interface etc. needs help, it can be downright frustrating, and the relatively low-res graphics can be a strain on some screens. Thankfully these issues have been addressed in the expansion pack Wisdom Quest, which I also highly recommend. Overall, this is a really innovative and great product. Also a good investment as far as biofeedback devices go since there will likely be more expansion packs and third-party software to come!
Customer Review: AMAZING.... BEAUTIFUL....

This is my first experience with Biofeedback, however, I am extremely interested in meditation and the mind/body connection and truly believe that our minds possess much more ability than we realize.
I just received "My Journey" and have been using it the past several days. I have to say this is truly an amazing experience. I really don't want to call it a game because it is so much more. The graphics are breathtaking and each scene brought tears to my eyes (granted... I am an extremely emotional person)! As I viewed each scene, I realized that they embraced what are my visions of "the other side." The scenes seem to actually come to life. Then, there is the music... so beautiful and soothing. A great accompaniment to a great and useful life tool.
I find myself looking forward to experiencing my journey every night. Then, when you participate in the meditation, breathing, or other exercises and realize what your mind and body are actually capable of doing, it is exhilerating. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is looking for answers... not sure if I will find all of them, but so far, I am optimistic!
