I got this as a gift a while ago. I really like the soap and hand butter. The bay rum aftershave works well and it smells great, sort of like Pinaud except more subdued.

However, the shave gel won't lather up at all, which combined with the capsaicin (the chemical that makes things "spicy") makes shaving with it painful. I've tried lathering with both with my hands and a brush, no dice. Also, the bath mitt came apart after a month or so of using it, though for that month I liked it.

The packaging is neat, and MOST of the stuff in the can is good. Just make sure that if you give this to someone you warn him about the shave gel.
