The pencil grips were well constructed and easy to slip on and off the pencils. However, I am having difficulty getting the children I work with to use the grip regularly. They find it uncomfortable. This may because these kids write with a very awkward grip and may have become used to writing that way. It may also because this grip is a bit large. I am thinking of trying a smaller one to see if that one works better. I am trying to understand if the kids just need to get used to this grip, or if one with a different design or size would work more effectively.
