Best thing I've ever done for ME...Now that will sound silly to anybody who is not in trigger point pain every day of their life! Seriously, I lay down on my bed and use this cane to get up under and in the knots in my back and it just feels so good. I'm actually improving and I've not been able to say anything close to that in years. I've bought just about everything you can think of trying to get these knots out of my back and this one wins! I wish I had bought it first but it just frankly looked like a gimmicky stupid tool and I would have never imagined that I could get this kind of relief using it! You can just lay right down in bed and watch TV and work out your own knots! No more feeling guilty bugging everybody in the house to "dig deeper" and hurting their thumbs and elbows! If you are the type of person, like me, that will literally lay down on a baseball and press yourself into it until you are just sure you are going to bust something...this will help you! I also worried about how sturdy it was...trust me, it's not going to break...go ahead and get it :)Customer Review: The BEST product I've ever used for muscle pain!!

The Theracane is by FAR the most effective thing I've used to treat my chronic sore muscles and knots across my middle and upper back!! I've tried heated vibrating pads, self massage, massage therapists, a chair pad with those circular rollers, and those patches that heat up when you apply them to your skin. Absolutely nothing compares to this. I've had chronic pain for probably 10 years, and just in the few days I've had this, I am so impressed with its effectiveness. I have what feels like rocks between my shoulder blades and across the top of my back, and applying this pressure just really works them out, by applying direct pressure for several seconds to loosen the knot and then also using a small back and forth movement over the area. I feel so much lighter after using it. And now I don't have to bother my boyfriend and try to convince him how much I really need a massage. :) I've been using it several times per day for about 5 minutes each time and I absolutely love it. I bought this exact model years ago. It virtually can't break, it's so well made, it's small enough to pack and travel with me, and well worth the price.
If my legs or arms are sore, I can massage them or take a hot bath, but if my back is sore, this massager can reach any point on my back. There's no moving parts or batteries to wear down....my daughter uses it, too.
It came with an instructional booklet. You can hold one of the round knobs on one trigger point in the muscle for a few seconds, or use it to go back and forth over an area to release the tension. If you don't like putting on a lot of massage oil (too sticky and messy) you can wear a thin t-shirt type material on your back, and the massager will glide over the muscles.
I really believe in the power of massaging muscles in order to increase the flow of blood and oxygen to a muscle, and this really does the trick! I think you'll love it!

I am a CHRONIC back pain sufferer. I have all types of devices I have tried on my back from the back pounding massager to the roller ball device, etc. NOTHING has given me relief like the Theracane. This is the PERFECT thing to get at those knotted up muscle knots you get in your back. I used to try laying on a tennis ball or mashing my back on something to rub those bunched up muscles spots, but nothing really helped. THE THERACANE DOES DOES DOES! I love this product. It has helped me literally dissolve a spot that has been tight and knotted for years! The best thing is you don't have to have someone do it for you--you can fix your problem areas all alone. It's really an incredible product. I'm so happy I tried it. My entire family uses it. You won't find ANYTHING at this price that can help your back like this is helping mine. I truely love it! It WILL help you if your back pain is from sore, tight, knotted muscle areas.
