Customer Reviews of Thera Cane MassagerCustomer Review: Hits the Spot! Summary: 5 Stars
Buy this odd-looking, yet extremely handy device if you have a hard-to-reach spot that needs constant attention. Especially useful for the back or if you need to apply a good amount of pressure on spots such as the bottom of the foot. Things I like best about it include:
-it's lightweight
-handles positioned so you can keep pressure on a spot while rubbing
-is in the shape of a "hook" so virtually no spot is out of reach
Intended for those who need to regularly massage out tense areas in the muscles, it's a very useful tool- and cheaper than therapy! Also recommend Treat Your Own Spinal Stenosis if you suffer from chronic back pain.
Customer Review: Simple design, amazing benefit! Summary: 5 Stars
I can't explain how much better the TheraCane makes my back feel. This is actually my second one; I gave away my first. Anyone who tries it loves it.
I dislocated a rib a couple of years ago, and my back muscles have never been the same. This thing works wonders on the knots. I actually sleep better, because this helps relax the muscles and reduce tension.
Bonus: my wife no longer needs to work on my back-- I can do this myself, as often as I need to.
As a side note, I think this is the highest-rated product I've ever seen on Amazon. As of now, with more than 100 reviews, 91% of the reviewers gave it 5 stars. I fully understand those stats, and you would too, if you bought one. It's really that good.
Customer Review: It works! Summary: 5 Stars
I have had a number of surgeries and injuries over the years. I see a chiropracter and a physical therapist every few weeks. Both of them work wonders, but then my body tightens up. I can't afford to see them every day! I bought the theracane because I saw someone else with one at a long distance cycling event. Now I've purchased another 3 to share with friends.
It works! This tool has helped me stay loose, and has taken away a lot of the shoulder stiffness that I have suffered for the past 7 years. I suggest the addition of the trigger point therapy workbook, which will give you a lot of the details about the body and why/where it hurts. But even if you don't want to study, you can still get lots of benefits from daily use of the theracane!
Customer Review: The best $28.50 I've ever spent Summary: 5 Stars
I found the Thera Cane strictly by accident, and at first, couldn't figure out what I was looking at. Then I noticed 266 reviews, with the average being 5 stars. So I started reading them.
I constantly have tight, painful muscles in my neck, shoulders, and back, so each new glowing review suggested that this might actually be the solution. Within a few minutes, and reading about 25 or 30 reviews, I ordered one.
It arrived today. I read the accompanying booklet and tried a number of the suggestions on how to loosen up tight muscles. Within about 30 minutes (and I still don't know the best ways to use it), I was virtually pain-free. All of the knotted muscles had relaxed.
Wow! This truly is the best $28.50 I've ever spent!
Customer Review: A little pricey Summary: 4 Stars
As a pudendal nerve entrapment and chronic pelvic pain patient, I have spent many, many thousands of dollars on physical therapy over the years just to be able to sit. This device does not obviate all need for the laying of trained hands, but it does reduce the frequency with which such treatments are necessary, allowing me to poke and prod at all the knots in those hard-to-reach groiny places you don't talk about in mixed company on my own.
At this price point I was kinda hoping it was made out of graphite or something, but it's just sturdy plastic--like what they make milk crates out of. I don't expect it to break anytime in the near future, but the surface texture creates a bit of drag which I personally could do without. Polish those knobs.
