Trust me I've tried ALOT of pillows for my neck pain. Most where too hard or too soft and I would end up with my head too high or my or too low. Drove me nuts! This pillow is soft but firm and won't lose the "goody" out of it in time like a tempura pillow. My chiro recommended this but her price was too high and I just didn't want to spend another dime on yet another pillow. After finding one on Amazon on sale I broke down and made a purchase. After two days my neck pain is gone, I can't believe I'm saying that. I measured like they recommend and it's a great fit. I sleep both on my back and mostly on my sides and it works great. It does seem small compared to most pillows but it doesn't bother me. I use it with a body pillow to hug between my arms and legs. I'm happy.
