Customer Review: Not great for eye care

This product does create moist heat (I wasn't sure that the whole "pulls moisture from the air" thing would pan out). It doesn't, however, stay hot for very long. It's pretty cool by the end of my five minute treatment.
Also, it's probably better for sinus issues than eye problems. The beads inside don't stay very well in the middle parts that sit on your eyes. Instead, they pool to the side.

I had Lasik Wavefront surgeries on both eyes, and one of my eyes feel quite dry at times. I was told that moist heat can open up and unclog oil glands, that's the reason why I purchased this sinus mask. Along with eye drops, this mask relieves my dry eye when I use it on a regular basis. So I do recommend this for anyone who suffers Lasik dry eyes syndrome.Customer Review: Helps Sinuses

I've had severe sinus problems for a number of years and this is great for applying heat or cold on the face. I almost wish it was big enough to wrap around the temples as well...this just covers the eyes and cheeks so it doesn't soothe everywhere that hurts. I purchased this product as a last attempt to relieve a large sty I had for over 9 months. At the same time I purchased this product I was also seeking surgical removal of the sty. Thankfully within 2 weeks of using this product, and prior to my surgery date, the sty was dissolved.

My eye doctor prescribed moist heat as a treatment to stimulate the oil glands in my eye lids to help with dry eye problems. This pad is very easy to use, heats up to the perfect temperature in just one minute (microwave) and really helps my eyes. It's good quality for a good price.
