This Thermos is a good size for a school lunchbox. The height of 6.75" allows it to fit conveniently in the lunchbox. Most thermoses this size are too kiddish looking, but the stainless steel looks good for my middleschoolers. I just use the sip lid instead of the infuser. Haven't had any problem with leaking. Only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is that my kids complain they don't get quite enough to drink. But that is not really a problem with the product... I bought this tumbler about 2 wks ago because of the good reviews I read about it. I was not disappointed. This tumbler keeps my coffee/tea warm even after several hours. Also is spill-proof so I can just throw it into my purse instead of having to hold it. Definitely one of the best tumblers out there. My only complaint is that I wish it were a little bigger so I can put more coffee into it. Customer Review: Perfect for travel

This is my fourth Thermos product purchase from Amazon. I was looking for something small so that I could travel with. Leaving the tea mesh at home, I use this as a water bottle that I fill after I pass security at the airport. I look for a drink dispenser and fill it up with ice and water. It's sure to keep the water cold throughout my trip and on the plane, especially nowadays when the airlines are skimpy with drinks. When I get to my destination, I use this as a coffee mug, which keeps my coffee hot for several hours. At night in the hotel, it turns back into a water bottle. I don't have to go to the hotel ice maker that often with this little guy, as it keeps ice overnight.
Pros: Seriously leakproof, easy to clean with a bottle brush (you can find them in the baby section of your grocery store or Target/Walmart), portability, versatility (can be used for water, coffee, and tea).
Con: This Thermos does not have the one-hand, pop-open lid as its Thermos cousins, the 18-oz hydration (water) bottle and the 16-oz backpack bottle, so it does get tiring having to screw and unscrew the top when I want to drink. However, the pop-up lid would add about three inches to this tea mug, which takes away some advantages of its portability. In addition, the 12-oz capacity is the same as a soda can, so if you can chug a soda can in one sitting, you may find yourself getting refills often. The 12-oz capacity has not been an issue for me.
Overall, I have become a loyal Thermos fan because of the products' dual ability to insulate ice water and hot tea/coffee. The other big plus is all of the Thermos products are BPA-free and leakproof, which gives me peace of mind as I toss the bottles into my backpack or large purse and don't have to worry about condensation, sweating, or leaking. Plus, I have saved tons of money bringing my own coffee/tea and ceasing purchase of bottled water. It's good to know that in this "reduce, reuse, recycle" world that I can contribute in some small way with such a wonderful product.

Excellent cup, highly recommended! I bought this cup as a back up as my current cup is several years old and I was afraid it wouldn't be available when I needed a new one (stockpiling!). After buying 4 other cups and being dissatisfied I initally bought this cup because it won the Good Housekeeping test of leak-proof cups. Pros: very leak proof, no weird pieces that are hard to clean, size (not bulky), excellent heat retention, durable, sleek and good looking. Cons: have to remove the seals to completely clean.Customer Review: Wonderful thermos!

I love this little guy. I bring him to work with me every day. I actually brew my tea before I leave, let it steep for 10 minutes or so, and then screw on the drinking cap. That way, I don't have to bring an extra part with me to work. It retains heat beautifully -- my tea has been lukewarm as many as 8 hrs later! It's also nicely designed, I like how it's easy to hold. The only con I have noticed is that it's pretty easily dentable. I banged it against the desk (not even too hard), and there's a small dent on it now. Also with there were other colors! But otherwise, adore it. :)
