I tried these when a friend brought a pack back from Australia. We were on a four-day backpacking trip and he handed me one. I was completely addicted.
They're kind of hard to describe: a minty, oil-enfused toothpick that's not really meant to clean your teeth, but rather for chewing over an hour or so.
It's not chewing gum! If you think of it that way, you may end up with a splinter. For a couple of dollars, just try them...
