If you are feeling sluggish, slightly or more than slightly depressed, hungry all the time or can't lose weight no matter what you do, achy, etc., you may have an underactive thyroid. Even if you had a thyroid test, it may test normally, because it takes quite a bit to be classified as having "hypothyroidism." This is a very inexpensive product (one bottle will last you for 3 months or so) that is very easy to take (1-3 drops in water once a day) and, boy, it sure has made a difference for almost all the women in my family! I read that in menopause, one thing that is common is hormone imbalance, including underactive thyroid. My sister, who has been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was taking a prescription for Synthroid, started taking 3 drops and feels better than she has in years being on the medicine (which she has stopped taking). I can't recommend this more highly. It's cheap enough to give a try just to see if you feel better. Start with 1 drop and work up. I felt a little anxious on 3 drops and didn't notice much on 1 drop, but 2 drops was "just right." Iodine is the fuel for the thyroid, out of which it makes its hormone that affects the whole body.
