Lets face it folks...soap is soap. It all works. If you carefully read the product labels, you find that there is not a great deal of difference in one laundry soap from another. Yes, some are touted as "anti-allergenic" and this may be so. If you have that sort of problem, then you should probably see a physician and find what can be done about it. Start also by not using those liquid detergents in plastic bottles. But as to Tide...
When you think about it, this is as about as American as you can get. Good old Procter and Gamble started working on this stuff back in the 1920s. In 1946 they came up with what we now called "Tide." (In the 1920s it was called "Dreft'). There have been many "improvements" over the years, but still and all Tide is Tide is Tide. (Of course they missed out on having Marilyn Chambers as their cover girl like Ivory Snow did...but hey, you can't win them all).
Now this has been the leading detergent over all these years. There is a reason for this...hey guys, it works! It actually cleans cloths and cleans them well!
It gets clothing clean just like other soaps, it smells pretty good, it is no more expensive in the long run than any other product and it makes just as nice a mess on your floor if you spill it as any of the others.
I have noted that this stuff is easier on allergy sufferers than the liquid stuff.
Now for the price here...It is indeed higher than you will find at Wally World or one of those type of stores, but figure out what you are paying for gas to go get the stuff and the higher price does not seem all that much. Consider the fact that you run a great risk of being smashed or crushed by those folks driving those little electric golf carts in Wally World and suffering through listening to screaming brats on all sides as their parents wack them and tell them to "shut the **** up," and the guy and girl standing next to you with dilated pupils and prison tattoos that speak in a quick, staccato dialect, eyes always moving and whining because they no longer can buy "cold medication" by the case load, and it looks even more attractive here on Amazon. And then there is the parking lot.......! And then there is hauling the stuff out of the car and into the house.....Think about it!
My grandmother, mother and I use this stuff. I will never have any kids, but if I did, I would certainly make sure they were "Tide Fresh" when I sent the little critters off to school...or wherever kids go these days.
