Customer Reviews of Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover, .338-Ounce Sticks (Pack of 6)Customer Review: Tide to Go Summary: 5 StarsCan't believe this really works but it does. I have used it on new spills as well as old and like magic they were gone. I sent some to my 87 year old Mother. Good to carry one in your purse or pocket for accidents.
Customer Review: The Post-It for stains Summary: 5 StarsI liked the tide stick because of its convenience (easy access and size), easy of use (about the size of a marker) , and effectiveness (cleans up most food stains).
For example, my daughter spilled food on her shirt and my wife used the tide stick to clean up the stain. Both were surprised to see the stain disappear. The product worked. Shortly after, my wife used the tide stick on another child eating mis-happen. On the first day, the tide stick was used a total of three times.
I recommended buying a Tide Stick and putting near the Fridge.
Customer Review: This product is TERRIBLE! Summary: 1 StarsI tried this product the other day while at a bar. I tried to remove a stain that resulted from me spilling a little Kung Pao on my shirt that I had a Thai/Chinese restaurant. The stain remover was given to me from a lady that I had met at the bar, and as I tried to use it, I noticed that the tube was really hard and nothing came out as I squeezed it. I tried to loosen the stuff inside the tube with a toothpick, but very little came out. The stuff that did come out wasn't effective at removing my stain (maybe because not enough of the stain remover was applied), but it did manage to remove some of the color in my shirt (that might have been due to the bleach-smelling substance that was in the spot remover). Eventually, I used a spot remover that I had at home and the stain was washed out. Based on my experience with the Tide Instant Stain Remover, I will not buy this product and will not recommend it to my friends. It doesn't even deserve a "1 Star."
Customer Review: Instant Stain Remover Summary: 5 StarsIt gets rid of most stains!
Ketchup, soup, blood, cake, etc.
It fits GREAT in your purse.
Customer Review: catch 'em when you get 'em Summary: 4 Starsthat's the rule of thumb! As they advertise, if you apply this on fresh stains, it removes most of them. I love whites, especially in summer, but have been scared of wearing them since I'm a bit on the clumsy side. But with Tide to Go, I risk wearing whites, and guess what, I don't regret it. The types of stains (read fresh stains) it has helped me with so far include:
coffee stains (have to use it a bit more so that it doesn't spread)
pizza sauce stains (don't ask me how)
soda stains (specifically cola)
oily food stains
The reason why I've given it 4 stars is because sometimes, especially if it's an oily food stain, rubbing over and over doesn't necessarily remove it, only makes it lighter. Thus, not 100% on those kinds of stains. But overall, it's the best one available in the market so far.
