I thought the reason for motorized one vs non motorized is that you can do it yourself with out the help of someone else. But no. Although you can message your scalp yourself, it is a big awkward and not that fun if someone else is using it on you. Nice idea though and it is not that expensive. I experienced a similar but non-motorized massager at a friends house and wanted one for myself. This model for some reason didn't give me the same feet-tingling sensation that the other one did, but I did like the motorized aspect of it which does seem to help with my occasional headaches or tiredness.Customer Review: feels great

I liked this scalp massager a lot. It is flexible in that you can add more curve to the tines easily, and it is nice to fold them together to rake through your own hair. It does feel better when you have a friend use it on you, though! Can't wait to see if it helps improve my hair or scalp!Customer Review: what a feeling!!!

I loved this massager!! the massage is very relaxing, although i think that if the tips were covered with rubber tips or something like that it would not hurt as much in longer hair when removing. i took it to work to let others try it and all that did try it loved it!! way to go ting ting!!Customer Review: Great for headaches!

I get frequent headaches and I can use this product for about 5 minutes and my headache feels better, sometimes going away completely. It really is amazing. It is also nice for just relaxing. It feels wonderful. You can't beat it for the price. I would definately recommend this product.
