I've tried 4 or 5 of Tom's toothpastes, this one is definitely the best. The 'Whole Care' selection gives the best results, and the Spearmint is the best flavor. Far superior to any brand out there.
PROS: No colorings, it's white. I've always been skeptical of brushing with green and blue dyed toothpaste from other brands, why do I want dye on my teeth?; no artificial sweeteners, something else you don't want on your teeth. Then when you do your research, you find Tom's of Maine is an all around good company as well. Good people, good product.
CONS: The price. Shop around for the best deals and use coupons. But, you do get what you pay for with this great product. It's worth it.

For some reason this toothpaste gives me a sore throat that goes away within a half hour of its use. As far as I know, I'm not allergic to anything, so I cannot comment on the reason for the throat ache. Also, after that half hour my teeth feel as though they've never been brushed. If I want clean feeling teeth, I add a pinch of baking soda. I won't purchase this again. I recommend Arm & Hammer Complete Care Fluoride Extra Whitening Toothpaste with Baking Soda & Peroxide, Fresh Mint instead. Since there is baking soda and peroxide in the Arm and Hammer, I know it's doing its job.Customer Review: Wonderful Toothpaste---Delightful Flavor !!

This is my favorite toothpaste, leaving teeth and mouth feeling fresh and clean, and I hope they never stop making it. Tom's of Maine has been in business a long time, being "green" long before it was the "in" thing to do. A company that can be trusted. An American company making its products in America [unless things have changed recently]
I've been a loyal user, from back in the days when you could only find it in health food stores. I'm thankful that Amazon is making it available.

We started using Tom's Toothpaste after deciding to eliminate products with parabens and pthalates from our toiletries. I LOVE the way my mouth feels after using the Spearmint toothpaste - the mint is just right...not so strong your mouth burns, but strong enough to leave a clean tingle. And it really smells like fresh spearmint, not some lab-concocted fragrance, which is wonderful to smell on your own breath, or someone else's!Customer Review: I'm glad its eco-friendly but it taste

It taste like I'm brushing with baking soda. I love Tom's customer service and I love their eco-efforts and other products but I'm not so sure there toothpaste is something I'll get again....with that said I would rather use their spearmint toothpaste than the cinnamon one. The cinnamon paste is just nasty.
