As a female with alopecia areata, this is the only product I've found that helps with bald spots and thinning spots.
If you're feeling weird about covering up your spots, you shouldn't. This product blends into your real hair and it's not noticable.
It has done wonders for my confidence because I don't constantly worry that I have a bald spot showing or have the feeling that people are staring at my hair. I use it almost every day.
The only negative thing I can say about the product is that you can't see in the bottle, so it's hard to tell when you're running low.

I purchased this product after finding out from a dermatologist that I have scarring alopecia and my hair will not grow back. I have thinning hair on the top of my head that is very noticeable. He suggested I use wigs or get a hair transplant. First, I do not look good in wigs. Second, hair transplants cost thousands of dollars. I decided to purchase a product to help cover up my missing hair. Now that I have this product, I feel more confident. I no longer feel sorry for myself. I really like this product. Blends perfect into the hair, but I find better results brushing it through rather than "patting" it in. Guess it also depends how much hair you have to work with.
One trick to finding a natural look is first brush the hair away from the thinning area to unveil the scalp more, then sprinkle on enough to cover then restyle. You will lose some fibers but looks undetectable!

I have been a Toppik user for many years now and have enjoyed the use of their products. I was upset though when I received my purchase that it was not at all as it was shown in their advertisement.
They had a picture of a larger size of the Toppik, 25gm, yet I was sent the small one, 10.3gm?
I was not very pleased to say the least when I open the package..
Besides being mislead, the product itself is fine..

DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS IT IS FROM DIRECT MFG. THAT WILL GIVE YOU MONEY BACK IF NOT SATISFIED!! I bought this from the natural health shoppe, and I got stuck keeping a product that doesn't work-they would not refund any opened product!! How else was I going to see how it worked? I guess this is good for people that have used it without any problems or are satisfied with this product.
