I am very pleased with the lapdesk I ordered! There is a lot of room to work (much more than others I saw). I liked the raised surface at the bottom so the material doesn't fall off. The light is a special touch which makes the lapdesk even more usable. AND THE PRICE ($$) was great for all the features this lapdesk. I knew I was going in the hospital and neededed a lapdesk during a 6 month recovery time. I looked all over in stores and the web, this one is far superior than any I saw and the price is great. I highly recommend this product! The price is right and the quality is superb! I shopped a long time before I found this perfect lapdesk at such a good buy! I use this comfy lapdesk a lot for working with my laptop and writing. It has great ergonomic comfort and has saved me the neckaches and backaches I used to have leaning over tables and stationary desks. The light is really bright and easy to adjust to the perfect angle for any work. When not in use, the light easily folds out of your way. I love this product! Thanks!!!Customer Review: bulky

I found this lap table too bulky. The quality of the manufactured product is adequate, but I found it heavy. The 'pillow' is a nice fabric, and the surface of the table is a nice nonskid one. The lamp is also nice, BUT the pillow has no 'give'; it is very fully stuffed, and somewhat heavy, so add a laptop, and you have a lot of weight on your lap. I like a lap table that you can shift around a bit, depending on your position, sitting, reclining, etc. It is also a bit small for a laptop - no room for an external mouse.Customer Review: Nice Product

Overall I am pleased with the product. The desk gets heavy when you put the batteries in. I had a hard time getting the batteries in, so start out with good ones that will last awhile. Desk is sturdy. Held my 15.4" widescreen laptop with no problem and there was room to use my wireless mouse. I am able to sit cross legged and the desk is still stable.
Edited on 1/13/11: Yeah, with the batteries in, this desk is way to heavy and has no room to move around on your lap really. Skip it.

When I bought this I had planmed on returning it..But when I got it.. I decided to gve it a shot and man Am I glad I did It works better them my old one...The only bad thing I can say is NO CUP HOLDER as I'm in a wheelchair it would have made things easier (that's why I was going to return it) But it balnces well on my lap (as long as I'm tilted back a bit)
As far as the the light...I didn't even bother with it I just leave it alone
All and all great laptray worth the money!
