My father has had a pair of Tweezerman mustache scissors for almost two decades and they have held up spectacularly, maintaining their sharpness so well that they have only had to be sent back for sharpening once in almost 20 years.
After trying some cheaper scissors from Target and throwing them away in disgust when they kept pinching hairs instead of cutting them I decided to buy this set after my dad suggested it to me. I was a little worried that the quality of Tweezerman products might not be as good as it used to be, but these scissors are wonderful.
The size is absolutely perfect, and they feel great in my hand. When you pick them up it is immediately obvious that they are heavy-duty and high-quality. The chrome finish on the stainless steel is bright and the finish holds up well over time, still looking shiny and new after many months of use. The tips of the blades are slightly rounded to help prevent injury. The blades are sharp as a knife, and cut through even the thickest of facial hair with ease. Combined with the free lifetime sharpening guarantee that Tweezerman offers, it is clear that these scissors will last a lifetime.
The included comb is made out of a black plastic material similar to a regular ACE-brand fine-tooth comb. It is not as durable as the scissors, but if handled well it should hold up just as well as any other plastic mustache comb. The clamshell packaging the set comes in is also sturdy and attractive, making this a great gift for anyone with facial hair.
I am thoroughly pleased with this set and would happily recommend it to anyone who is looking for a high-quality set of scissors to help tame their facial hair.
