I purchased this item because my better half has a problem with thick ingrown toe nails. Although I recommend periodical visits to a podiatrist for such conditions but my spouse's nails grows so quickly so I bought this to keep the problem at bay and reduce office visits. I expected this scissor to get right in and make the cut but discovered that the best it can do is cut slivers at a time. The pros for this item is that it can reach areas that normal toe clipper have difficulty doing.
