I got this item as a gift, and now I will make it a gift for others this Christmas. I am not a 'clean-freak' by any means, but the idea of sanitizing my toothbrush made sense as soon as I started to think about it. The VIOlight worked with my Sonicare electric head, and it was so easy to use. I brush and use the VIOlight just like my old toothbrush holder. No extra steps.Customer Review: Poor Customer Service

I just wanted to comment on this company's customer service unit. They are horrible. They wasted a lot of my time, which could easily have been avoided by asking me one simple question during the first of several phone calls.
In addition, one representative basically was lying to me until I read the text directly from the VIOLIGHT website.

Have had one for year and it has fallen on marble floor several times and it has never broken. just got one for my husband's bathroom. Tip: turn the brush around so that the sides face the light occasionally. This product is essential for everyone. I also purchased a sterilizer for my mouth
appliance that I wear when I sleep.

Good size and good design. Fits all tooth brushes which is nice in these days of larger and larger handles. I feel much better knowing the toothbrushes are sanitized. Do wish it had a top. We use it in the motorhome and I put it under the counter down the road and I would feel better with a top. I use foil now.

I'm not quite sure what I was expecting, however had I paid full price for this item, I would have been annoyed. Luckily, I had a $20 coupon, so $30 seemed more reasonable for what it is worth. I can't scientifically tell you if it works, however at least some sort of sanitizer is better than the nothing we had before.
