this is the only sunscreen i've found in my long and varied history with sunscreens that doesn't burn or sting on my face. it's important i have sunscreen on when i'm outside and the pain and swelling and burning other sunscreens caused was miserable. the greasy-ish feel goes away pretty quick, and if you have sensitive skin, this stuff feels like a little miracle. the other thing that has worked for me is straight zinc oxide- not other clear zinc products like this one, but the white stuff. which is hard to wear to the grocery store, you know? i highly recommend this sunscreen. my dermatologist gave me samples to test out before i bought it -Customer Review: Love this suntan cream! A friend uses this suntan lotion for her toddler son, as per the pediatrician's recommendation for his sensitive skin. While in her backyard on a sunny day I borrowed this lotion. I was amazed that it did not leave stains on my son's clothes. For this reason, and the added benefit for sensitive skin, I ordered this suntan lotion from Amazon and used it all summer. I have been very happy with it and will continue to use it for my son and for myself, and will order more next summer. This is one of the best sunscreens to use if you have any type of skin issues like sensitive skin, freckled skin or melasma skin. It has zinc oxide and titanium dioxide which totally block all solar UV rays. It can be used as a moisturizer under makeup (wait a few minutes for it to 'set' before applying makeup). Apply lightly as a little goes a long way. There are no dyes, preservatives or chemicals in this sunscreen. This is a must have product for year round use--it truly protects sensitive skin and prevents sunburn too!Customer Review: THIS IS THE ONE !

My young daughters break out in a painful red rash from EVERY other sunscreen on the market. I have even tried the ones that claim "pure and free Baby". THIS PRODUCT is the only product I will use. They never have a reaction from Vanicream and we used it in the pool and in 100 degree weather. No sunburn and no rashes! I have seen some negative reviews about the product being oily. As long as you are careful not to get it in your hair it's great. I like it because it is not drying to the skin. 5 stars from me !Customer Review: Seriously greasy

I have combination skin type that the T-zone is prone to be oily and sometimes breakout and the U-zone is very dry and senstive. Ordering this item, I tried finding reviews of it from several different websites. Most of them said the same thing that is too greasy. Well, I hegitated purchasing it for that reason. I got it anyway. " Yes!!! it is greasy as much as I want to buy another one" I can't even imagine going out with applying on it. I think it may be better in winter. But I don't recommend it in summer.
