I received this in the mail yesterday. I was skeptical and it was actually not the style lightbulb I anticipated. However I absolutely love it. I want to order a second one for home office. The design is much sleeker than the picture. I expected a clunky off balance lamp and received a sleek adjustable just the right weight lamp. I used it at the office all day today and was in the best mood I have been in for a long time! (I have no windows in my office- fluorescent lighting only) I recommend this!Customer Review: Nice and comfortable but expensive

Have been using it for last 4-5 months. Joined school which means lot of reading and laptop work, so I purchased albeit the price tag was high. So, far I found it decent. Bluish light, two brightness setting, reasonably stable on the table. This light is good for reading and laptop. But if you want light spread across a larger table, this is not the right one.
Update after 2 years of use: the plastic cover for the lamp got loose and keeps falling - a nuisance. Otherwise, no complaints.

I was a bit wary about the light being sufficient for studying since other reviews indicated that the light was too dim but I'm so glad I made the purchase. The light is great for reading and using the computer. It does not strain my eyes and it brightens the desk area sufficiently. The down side is that it does not light up a very large area but it's enough for one person to use on a desk.Customer Review: Hmmmmmmmm.

I bought this lamp because it says it doesnt give off any glare and is easy on the eyes for reading, doing crafts, Well it doesnt giove off much light either!!!! So you need another source of light in your work area also......... I didnt think it would fill up the room with beautiful NATURAL light but c'mon.........all in all its an overpriced night light!!!Customer Review: Awesome

I do about 300pages of reading a week and the natural light from this lamp is a godsend. My eyes still get tired but not irritated they way they used to. Does the lamp provide the light of a 1000 candles? No but it's a desklamp and not a search light. Well worth the money. I'm getting it as a gift for a family member.
Your eyes will thank you!!!
