Use Number One:
Reading is ideal under this lamp. Words are clearer, dust jacket covers are the right colors and pop!
And it is a 10th of the cost of regular incandescent bulb reading lamps.
Love it.
Use Number Two:
We have an additional pair behind each of our HDTV's with the light pointed at the wall so that it glows equal to the brightness of the TV.
All the content on the display is more vibrant and more comfortable to watch.
And again, you can seriously tell the difference when the lamps are off... we have them on a single switched power strip within easy reach and highly recommend these lamps for that usage as well.
This has long been a simple Home Theater Secret--and now with full spectrum lamps and high color gamut televisions, it is a perfect combo.
