I had this clock a couple of years, but it was always difficult to use. Then after 1 year, the light stopped working - which I've read on several other reviews. It's the best looking of the lighted alarm clocks on the market. I'm going to wait a couple of months and see if any other models are updated.Customer Review: I would buy it again

One day I accidentally forgot to close my blackout curtains and gently woke up to the rising sun. I bought this and am pleased that it does the same thing and I don't have to worry about sun damage. I like the design & function of this lamp, though I did have problems with the lamp initially. Verilux sent me a replacement lamp in the mail and then sent me a shipping label to return the old lamp. This lamp is very good. It helps me fall asleep at night with a dimming light, and helps me wake up with a brightening light. My only gripes are that the speaker is pretty weak, and the snooze button seems to be too short.Customer Review: Change your wake up

I LOVE my Rise & Shine. Besides waking up slowly, gently, you can fall asleep to one of 8 sounds or music and wake to different ones. And you change how long your wake up cycle is day to day. A great product.
