Customer Reviews of VersaPro Thumper Mini Pro 2 MassagerCustomer Review: Better than average massager. Summary: 4 Stars
I love this massager. When I first saw this many years back, I always wanted one but it was very pricey then. The best one is the Deluxe massager which has many more massage heads.
Worth it. I bought this as a gift for someone and now notice that when they use it, the handle sounds like it is going to break off. I'm a little concerned. I use it as I should and give it a rest so as not to overheat. Not much more simple than that. Think this one is defective. Others are ok.
I'm curious to see if Thumper has had any issues with this one. I love this as it massages DEEP into the tissues.
This is great for just one person. A lot of stores have knock-off versions that I don't really care for. I saw one at Brookstone and really disliked it. It's like, why not give Thumper credit for their idea!
If you are an athlete, consider getting this version or the deluxe version as you will probably have this for some time. Deluxe is like $90 more and you will most likely put it on plastic so do it!
You can use both for one person. You just have to place this right. Check out Thumper's official website. It shows some cartoon guy laying back on pillows with the deluxe massager "thumping" away, eh? They're Canadian!
Enjoy!
Customer Review: THE BEST! Summary: 5 Stars
I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer almost 2 years ago now. I went through 2 surgeries plus radiation. These days, I'm still trying to find some balance in my life. I still get the aches and muscle pains, the fatigue, and my energy level is in the red. I've tried many things and one thing that has worked very well was a balance of chiropractic treatments, acupressure, and herbal medicine. Now that I'm unemployed, I had to stop all of the above. My temporary solution was to get a massager for the terrible knots that I get all over my body and this machine has helped tremendously! It's a bit expensive but well worth it. It's strong and I haven't had any problems with it shutting down. There are 3 speeds and I've only had to use the first or second one. I've used many others and felt that it wasn't strong enough or it would burn out after a few minutes. I highly recommend this massager. It's easy to use on all the hard to reach spots on the back and provides me with instant relief. Thank you thumper for making such a great product! Also, again... Amazon's service has been amazing. It was supposed to arrive on the Dec 20th but somehow made it to me in 2 days. Thank you!
Customer Review: Thumper Review Summary: 5 Stars
I have owned a Thumper Mini Pro I for over 15 years. The massager still works and is GREAT. It may seem pricey but will pay for itself without three massage visits and it is yours. I use mine almost every day due to L4,L5,C3, and C4 spinal disks problems from car accident and really great for low back. I paid maybe a little more than what is listed for the Thumper II now but first learned of them from a massage therapist. She used the "Professional model" which has eight massaging heads versus the two heads on the hand held personal model. I would buy this again and again. You can place it between you and a firm type chair and the massager will stay still and work great or move slightly while sitting and super. If you have a spouse (thumper buddie) get the Professional Model or both when that person doesn't want to help out you still have one. Big fan of the product. The company does recommend a 20 minute limit at one time on the machine and it will heat up at the 20 minute mark. This is to keep massager motor from going out but have had mine a lone time at what 18 dollar a year or so (and still going) and well worth every penny.
Customer Review: Tremendous massager Summary: 5 Stars
I also own a Jeanie Rub massager, but needed a massager that could be used more easily by myself. This massager seemed to fit the bill, and had many great reviews. I have used some cheap massagers in the past that looked similar to this, but they simply cannot compare. I could easily use this to massage my back and shoulders, and the degree of relaxation achieved by just a short massage is great. It works best on the thicker muscles of the back, shoulders, and legs, etc. I have used it on my forearms, but, at least for me, I cannot allow the full weight of the massager to rest on the forearm. Just lean it at an angle, and it works well.
I was a little reluctant to spend this much on a small massager, but it is well worth it. My wife actually likes this massager better than the Jeanie Rub. I think they both have their place, as both are excellent massagers. They provide different types of massages. This massager is my first experience with a quality percussive massager, and I really like it.
Customer Review: Mini-Pro 2 Thumper Massager Summary: 3 Stars
This is definitely an intense, strong therapeutic massager that is best used by another person upon you as it is a bit on the heavy side. It has two massagers that penetrate deeply into the body. I find the three different speeds helpful as some areas of the body need more or less stimulation. Beware, however that this model is a seriously strong, fast "thumping" action, even on the lowest speed. This massager fits the contours of the body well and is perfect for the tight knots along the spine, buttocks, and legs. It is a great product and the only downfall is that I am not able to use it upon my neck, due to the strength of the vibration and design of the massager head. I would highly recommend this product to another and also suggest they compare it to something like the Jeanie Rub, also available on amazon.com that I find to be similar, but more effective. This product came from All About Massagers and I appreciated their service and willingness to answer my questions.
