Customer Reviews of Vicks Personal Steam InhalerCustomer Review: Great for laryngitis problems! Summary: 5 StarsA voice therapist recommended this because I have lots of laryngitis during the winter. Our local WalMart quit carrying these personal inhalers so I found it on Amazon. I've used it about three years for occasional hoarseness and laryngitis due to allergies and winter dryness. Definitely helps! It only holds about two T. water so you have to be careful letting it warm up. With my new one I will ALWAYS set a timer.
Customer Review: Mighty Mite Summary: 5 StarsThis "personal" steam inhaler is as small and lightweight as it could be and do the job as advertised. The base diameter is 5 1/2 inches & the assembled height of the unit is 8 1/4 inches. The clear, plastic mask covers nose and mouth; the plastic is soft and well-shaped. One's face is best held a little away from the mask because the steam can be very hot. The product is well made. Recommended.
Customer Review: really helps, no kidding Summary: 5 StarsThe unit works great to relief my nasal congestion due to flu, it is very easy to use, no problems at all.
Customer Review: easy inhaler Summary: 4 StarsEasy to use. Easy to clean. Best part is that your eyes are not in direct line of the steam which makes it easier to stay over the steam and get the benefits of breathing in to help your sinus problems.
Customer Review: OK ... Summary: 3 StarsSteam generation was less vigorous than i hoped for - but at least repeated use does NOT redden your face or nose. Huge downside is needs specialized & Expensive medicated pads - 6 for $7 . Will not let us use regular Vicks or liquid vicks medicated additive. Anyone looking for just steam should be the only one buying. Otherwise should pass. Smaller in size than expected ...
