I developed dark circles around my eyes about two years ago. They make me look old and tired. I was looking for something to help with this problem that was not a cover-up. Based on the available reviews, I decided to try Vita-K. I also decided to test it in the most scientific way possible. First, before starting the treatment, I took pictures of my eyes every other day for three days. These were my before pictures. Then, I applied the product exactly as described in the instructions while maintaining my normal eating and sleeping routines. I took pictures of my eyes 30 minutes after washing my face once a week for six weeks over the course of the treatment. Finally, I applied Vita-K to only one eye. Thus, I had a control. If the product actually worked, the effect should be obvious and striking. One eye should not look like the other. After six weeks, there was NO difference between the treated and untreated eye. I saw no difference between the before and after pictures. I also asked a couple of friends to view the before, during and after pictures and they could not find any difference after using Vita-K. If you are looking to alleviate dark circles, this product will not help. It's a cosmetic mix that shrinks a bit on drying giving the user a feeling that the skin is tightening. It does nothing for dark circles.
