Customer Review: Gets the funk out better than regular detergent

The title sums it up.
Wash items inside out, I use the extra rinse setting based on other Amazon reviews, don't use fabric softener.
Tech fabric clothes that previously kept that "cumulative buildup of funk" now smell fresh again. I don't know that the clothes need to be washed in this repeatedly, just every once in a while to restore the freshness.
The bottles are not like the typical size you'd buy detergent -- much smaller (higher cost per load of laundry). Likely not cost efficitent or even warranted for your every day laundry. But - the product does work well, so it's worth it.

Great performing product. Could not find anything to get the funk out of all my polyester based clothing. Tried everything vinegar, borax, baking soda, just ended up damaging some light colored garments.
Sport wash worked equally well but I favored the crisp clean scent of WIN.
Just wish it was sold by a gallon bottle with a dispenser nozzle like the Costco detergents. That would probably bring down the price since the shipping & packaging costs would go way down.

This detergent is outstanding. It removes the smells from your clothes that you may have thought could never come out again. I play a lot of golf and in the summer, when it's hot and humid, my clothes are soaked all the way through. After a beverage or two I get home and my clothes have dried off, and boy, do they smell. You know what I'm talking about. This detergent gets it out and everything comes out smelling fresh again. I read about it in a golf magazine and they were right!Customer Review: Not very effective

I've been using this weekly for about a month and a half now, and I have to say it doesn't work any better than normal detergent. Coming out of the wash, synthetic fabric athletic clothes retain the strong scent of the product for a while, but as soon as I wear them they revert to the same old stale scent. I even tried soaking all my athletic clothes in it overnight, but it didn't help. Most of the rave reviews here are probably only fake, paid endorsements.Customer Review: Does What It Says

I bought it exclusively to clean my running clothes - all polyester wicking material. The smell in those clothes seems to activate with sweat. WIN appears to deal with the smell pretty well. It's not perfect, but my wife thinks a longer pre-soak may be needed.
Incidentally, the shorts that I cut the built-in brief out of are much cleaner than the ones with it. WICKER's underwear and no liner was the best remedy for me. (I know, that's gross!)
