Customer Review: Was skeptical, not anymore...

I recently started cutting my own hair (whats left of it) and opted normally for the "cheapest" wal-mart special set of clippers. So when I saw these so cheap on Amazon and the Wal-Mart website I was a little skeptical that they could be anything more than what I was used to using. WOW was I amazed at the quality of a sub $30 set of hair clippers! These feel exactly like being at a barber, super fast smooth cut with no snags or hiccups. They were aligned and oiled right out of the box and were cutting my hair within 10 minutes of unboxing. What used to be a dreadful 20 minute "buzz" cut is now a 5 minute walk in the park.
Cannot comment on longevity due to only owning this set for 2 months however for the price, they paid for themselves during the first cut!
Comes with a boatload of good quality accessories.
Overall 5 star product at an unreal price!

What I like:
- Very powerful - I have thick hair and this clipper cuts smoothly while other clippers just chocked.
- It's power is adjustable by a simple screw.
- Lots of guiding combs.
- The trimmer is a wonderful bonus and I bought guiding combs for it to use as a beard trimmer on travels ([...])
What I don't like:
- The other accessories' quality is very poor - the scissors, 2 hair clips, cleaning brush, blade oil bottle, mirror, spray bottle and the cape. If you really need these items you should consider buying them separately.
Summary:
Great clipper and trimmer for a great price! I had a Whal clipper for more than 20 year and it worked amazingly well - very reliable. This one doesn't fall behind and does a wonderful job.
I think that Whal should either improve or remove their accessories as they are doing a disservice for their clipper. Nonetheless - Five stars!

I will only be direct and forward with my opinion on this product:
Pros:
- Great clipper for head hair.
- Powerful, cuts even wet hair.
- Great variety of heads and shave level.
Cons:
- Very inconvenient as beard trimmer.
- The small trimmer is rubbish; it is not efficient, and doesn't provide continues power, it goes slow and fast (even with new batteries).
- Doesn't work under shower and not water proof.
So basically, if you're looking for a beard trimmer, this is not the tool for you, trust me. You may need to look into other medium size trimmers that work specifically for small body areas (like face) and works cord-less under shower too, if possible.
However, if you're maniac about shaving your head at home, and buzzing your head off. This might be just the tool for you. It's a good hair clipper.

I had used wahl a couple times before, and i was always impressed by its functionality.
This kit is simply awesome although the parts appear really cheap, like the body cover and the mirror, but idc.
I was really hoping that they would include the size 10 and 12 but it seems that you must call up Wahl and purcahse it then which really sucks..
IT COMES WITH A 5 YR Warranty, i hope their customer service will be good
This is how i see it.
I get a hair cut once a month. With this i will get atleast 10 haircuts a year = $150 saved
and in the 5 year which i intend to use this i will have saved $750 on haircuts.
Customer Review: Fell apart after first 1 Stars
I'm not really good at writing reviews,so I'm going to keep it short.. First i take the trimmer out of the plastic bag,i put in a battery.. so far so good.. Oh wait.. 20 sec later it stops working note that the batteries were brand new so there's no way that could be the problem,the trimmer just simply stopped working ,no power at all.so i say to myself ugh well at least i have the clippers right?WRONG,i began using the clippers and this time 4 minutes later the blade falls apart.a screw driver took care of it the first time but then it continues to fall apart...even after adjusting the power to it's lowest setting, i don't know but it looks like im going to need a power drill to keep this thing together. anyways overall it wasn't worth the nearly 50$ in my case(so much for keeping it short) But beware of this product.It's better to be safe then sorry i guess
