what a relief to find this device. our 8-yr-old has braces, and even with those floss threader-thingies i was doing a terrible job trying to floss his teeth. i do much better with this. our 10-yr-old didn't have the patience or coordination to floss on his own until we got him one of these, and now he calmly integrates it into his evening routine - he just needed some supervision & guidance the first few times. i'll always use regular floss myself, but for those who can't or won't, this is a great alternative.Customer Review: TOTAL JUNK and WASTE OF MONEY. What is wrong is simple. The tips are so flimsy it is like trying to get tissue paper beyween your teeth. It is a TOTAL RIP OFF. Any one who wrote a positive review either is being paid by the company or received a different product than I did (the WaterPik FLA-220 Power Flosser). I bought two and all the tips were the same). It is literally unusable. It kills me to give it one star (which you are required to do) since it deserves none.Customer Review: A Waste of time and money

The tips supplied with this device are so flimsy they don't make it through a single flossing.
Maybe it has something to do with the "Made in China" label. Like another reviewer said "It does not rate even one star". Too late I learned that it could not be returned once it was opened. How else can you judge a product without opening it and using it. Bad Amazon policy! Amazon should stand behind the products they sell 100%. WDM.

I didn't floss. I don't like fingers in my mouth and playing with string. A sonic toothbrush went a long way toward helping my gums get better. The power flosser was the last step. I can see where it has removed plaque. It's quick and easy to use. Sure, I can't reach the very back teeth with the power flosser. So what? Everything else is in reach and the flosser seems to do a better job than string. But, more important, I'm flossing!Customer Review: Great Little Gizmo

At Christmas time I bought 12 of these for the family. I'm a late 50's periodontic patient and hate to floss. I keep one at work, 1 at home and gave the other 10 to the fam. I LOVE THIS THING!!!! I just bought 4 more after riding with a friend who pulled out string dental floss from his pocket and tried to floss lunch out of his teeth while driving! For $7, it could be saving a life! BUY IT!!
